CIRM Speeds Up Funding Process

From the video caption: “The mission of CIRM, California’s Stem Cell Agency, is to accelerate the development of stem cell treatments for patients with unmet medical needs. To that end, on December 11, 2014, the CIRM governing Board approved a $50 million concept plan called CIRM 2.0 which is a streamlined process that will make it easier and faster to apply for funding from the agency. It is designed to attract high quality projects that are ready to start within 45 days of being approved for funding. In this video, CIRM President and CEO C. Randal Mills explains CIRM 2.0 in more detail.”
