The San Francisco Business Times has put together a slideshow of nine potential IPOs that reporter Ron Leuty thinks may happen in 2015. The intro:
“After a surge of life sciences initial public offerings in 2014, the new year isn’t letting up.
That’s not to say that the capital-gobbling biopharmaceutical IPO market will continue through all of 2015, says Jonathan Norris, managing director for Silicon Valley Bank’s healthcare practice. But investors will be watching newly public companies closely for any hiccups on the way toward bringing a drug to market.
Still, Norris predicts a biopharma IPO number lower than the 66 venture-backed offerings of last year but more in line with 2013’s 32 IPOs.”
